It's a sad commentary that Hilary Clinton's campaign sees her mistake as a failure to "undercut" Bernie Sanders, rather than a failure to realize just how desperately many people are seeking what Bernie has to offer. She had a lot of time to get out in front of that parade.

To me, a life-long progressive Democrat, the fatal flaw in Hillary Clinton's campaign, as in her last one in 2008, is that she is unable to excite voters with her so-called "'rational [aka boring, middle-of-the-road] message'" which seems calculated to appeal as much to Wall Street as to Main Street. Bernie Sanders has roused and reignited the Obama coalition that is absolutely essential for the high-voter turnout that favors Democrats. Sec. Clinton's greatest failing is that she "underestimated" her "strengths" counting on her name and resume as a substitute for being able to connect with voters. Now that she is starting to "Feel the Bern," Hillary is turning to negative attacks, rather than showing passion and strength of character, and that will only further drive away, those like me, who still have "trust" issues with her.

They really miss the point here.
What they underestimated was the voters. They thought that those supporting Bernie had nowhere to go, and would be forced to vote Republican-Lite in order to avoid Republican-crazy.
That Republican-Lite was more than just a triangulation strategy to capture the middle. The Democratic Establishment is the big money guys associated with the Democratic Party. They ARE Republican-Lite. They want those solutions, favoring Wall Street and doing nothing for flyover country.
Bernie isn't the problem. He is the unexpected option the voters found for their dissatisfaction at being taken for granted by Hillary's machine.
If it wasn't Bernie, it would have been someone else. This problem is voters who refuse to go along.
The Republicans are having the same problem. They too took their voters for granted.

Mrs. Clinton, other than blowing two huge leads in the 2008 and 2016 Democratic primaries, how are you enjoying the success of your wooden, triangulating political strategy that appears to lack the any real conviction or passion for representing Americans ?
It's not that Bernie Sanders has the right policies in mind - although in fact he does - it's really the fact that he's willing to be plainly and honest explain that the United States of America Inc., Wall St. and their Congressional partners in crime have committed a national train robbery, that it is a crime against American humanity, that it is immoral and that his policies will start to reverse the economic horrors of modern America.
By contrast, Hillary appears barely conscious as an aspiring representative; sometimes you have to be able to get mad, angry and outraged at the psychopathic status quo in order to change it.
Bernie shows he actually cares about Americans, a rare and beautiful sight in America.
By contrast, Hillary seems asleep at the wheel once again, not a very Presidential quality.
America Feels The Bern....and almost no one feels the Hillary.
Game, set, match...Bernie Sanders.

How many times have I said that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is NOT an asset to the Democrats and especially Hillary Clinton. "Invisible" debates scheduled for minimum viewer time so Clinton could "glide" to the nomination was a BAD IDEA! Now the chickens are coming home.

At the beginning of this race, I expected to be holding my nose to vote Hillary in the General Election. Bernie has liberated me from that foolish idea, and reminded me that without principle, a person has nothing. I'll happily be supporting Bernie all the way to the presidency, but if he doesn't get the nomination, I will undeniably, unquestionably, unapologetically vote for a third party or independent candidate. I won't be a part of the blame for either Trump or Hillary keeping the nation in the gutter of shady partisan politics. Forget 'lesser of the evils,' vote for Bernie, vote for good.

What I've come to find most fascinating about this Presidential primary is how feckless the two party establishments have become. In fact, I'd take it a step further and say the RNC and the DNC have become albatrosses to the candidates.
I watched with considerable amusement as the RNC's darling, Jeb! came out of the starting gate and quickly sank like a lead balloon, while the madcap loose canon candidate, the Donald, shot to the top.
The dynamic isn't as intense and it took a lot longer, but we're seeing some of the same developments in the Democratic primary. From the start everyone said Clinton would be the Democratic nominee. Period. We can pretend awhile with Sanders, but Clinton was it. It felt like we were being dictated to, and I, for one, resented that. I added that resentment to a growing mountain of resentment aimed at the systems that run our country. When I see the DNC pulling the same kind of shenanigans that all other powerful entities in the country are pulling, I get indignant. The DNC is wrong to assume they are free to do whatever they please and still expect traditionally Democratic voters to fall in line.
Bernie Sanders is the antidote. I'm convinced that he's more interested in serving me and the American public, than himself, vested monied interests, and the DNC. He earned my vote the old fashioned way, the old American way, and I appreciate that.

Hillary will never be president. She has too much baggage. She doesn't stand for anything. What is the overarching theme of her candidacy, besides trying to be the first woman in the White House? The Clintons are interested in one thing and one thing only: power. They don't stand for anything.
Bernie has tapped into the Zeitgeist. He recognizes that the oligarchical system we still stubbornly call democracy needs a revolution. Hillary has latched onto some of his points in her speeches, but with a wink and a nod to the people who are buying her campaign. Do you really want someone who is bought and paid for by the banks trying to reform said banks?
The polls are breaking hard for Bernie. This is going to be 2008 again. The main difference is that Hillary's supporters have even less enthusiasm this cycle. Bernie's supporters are growing by the day.
Take note New York Times. Look forward, not back. It is high time you started treating Bernie as the candidate with momentum that is only accelerating. He will win New Hampshire. If he also can take Iowa, everyone around the country will take note. And the dominoes will fall like they did in 2008.

Adrian H. Todea Bernie Sanders nu face altceva decat sa-i ridice mingile la fileu lui Hillary Clinton. Este un fals candidat.
